Sales Tax

  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes or for providing valid sales tax exemption certificates.
  • If your purchase is exempt from sales tax, please send your exemption certificate to Tax.Dept@Hobartservice.com
  • What to Include:

    • Your account number or a sales order number (to help us locate your account)

    • A valid sales tax exemption certificate for the applicable state(s)

  • What to Expect After Submission:

    • Confirmation: You’ll receive an automated email confirmation that your request has been received.

    • Processing Time: Standard processing is 3–5 business days upon receipt of all proper documentation.

    • Credits: If approved, credits will be applied to past eligible orders.

  • Confirmation of Update:
    To verify that your tax-exempt status has been successfully applied, please check that no sales tax is charged on your next order. If tax still appears, contact Customer Care at 877-333-1863 for assistance.
